Confined to her small pigpen (or, as she knows it, a cage) on a modest farm, Flora the pig is unhappy with her lot in life. Although her mother tries to calm her restless mind, Flora will have none of it—her true dream is to travel to Antarctica and pull a sled with a team of real dogs. With determination and focus, Flora manages to gain passage on a boat headed to Antarctica, where a world full of unknowns and discovery await. But no one has ever heard of a pig helping pull a sled; can Flora overcome this stigma and fulfill her heart's desire?
